In times like these…
Darkness is all around me,
I am a fearful wanderer.
I am blind and cannot see
what is right in front of me.
I lost track of time,
forgot where I came from.
Where am I headed?
Silence is all around me,
I am deaf and cannot hear
what might be said to me.
I seem to have lost my voice,
cannot cry for help and guidance.
I feel lonely and abandoned.
Who is there to talk to?
Cold is all around me,
I am shivering and cannot move
toward new things in my life.
I feel dead and frozen inside.
There is no blanket or fire
to keep me warm and cozy.
Who is there to warm me?
You, my friends,
are the answer to my questions.
You light up my life,
help me to remember
Who I am and where I am going.
You are the help and guidance
that I need so badly these days.
You understand me without words,
You are my warming blanket.
With you, my friends,
I am safe and protected.
Only with you I can keep breathing.

Du bist meine beste Freundin & genau deswegen bist du mir so wichtig.
